Late night thinking..

I've learnt a lot of valuable lessons whilst being at university, and one of them being self value. Being young and very influenced by other people's opinions, the media and also your own mind. People tend to forget their self value. If somethings really bothering you or someone has said something to you about yourself. Maybe it be a comment on your appearance or even traits of your personality. Never think that it's you that has to change. We face millions of people in our lifetime and unfortunate for myself especially as I do care about what people think of me. When someone picks on something that can either be seen on the outside or even the inside, these comments can stick in your mind forever. You dont even need to be thinking about that person or even doing anything relatable. It can just cross your mind and make you feel useless.
.
In my time, being the character I am i've been called a endless list of names. Been told to act a certain way because it's 'not nice' and for years it used to bring me down SO much.
'Whats wrong with me'
'I don't understand why i'm getting called these names'
'I've done nothing but stick up for you'
'You never minded the way I spoke when I was sticking up for you'
.
So many questions run through you head, and you wonder; Why do I act this way? Why don't I speak like them? Why am I the way I am?
.
You never know why a person acts a certain way or why they look the way they look. You never know what someone's gone through until you have the time to ask them what's been going on. As people we should be fighting each others problems together, not against eachother. We grow each day and change into people we want to be and people shouldn't be shot down because they don't agree with the way you're growing.. So many people need to realise that, the world isn't catered for you. It's what the individual wants to do, and if your paths aren't the same, then move on and find people that want to be similar to you. To many people are too busy worrying about what other people are doing to even focus on their own value.
.
Just because you don't agree, doesn't meant the person you're bringing down likes your way of living. Everyone should appreciate that we are all different and we can all learn from eachother.
.
We all have a self value, and value is important, everyone is important.
.
Spread nothing but love and the world will be a better place.
.
Much Love
